Custom Android ROM with some great new options
Even though the custom build ROMs are extremely popular with the Android platform, unlike iOS, there are still those users who worry about security but soon this will be a thing of the past as CyanogenMod Android device finding service will soon be offered via the new CM Account service.
It seems that the hard working guys who are the team that is responsible for the immensely famous CyanogenMod Custom ROM have recently claimed that in the future coming builds the users of the ROM will have new amazing neat features coming their way to look forward to.
The newer releases of the Custom ROM when it comes to security will be more stock-like they will support improved security features that are normally compared to the stock ones offered and now users will be able to set up an account,CyanogenMod account, where they will be able to remotely track a device. They will also be able to do a few adjustments that are really needed when you have lost your device and you do not want the data on it to get in the hands of the thief of your device. Users will now be able to wipe the whole memory of their devices along with the microSD card and developers are hoping to use the accounts to send out secure SMS. When you consider all the new added features may way the scale towards users using the Custome ROM now that it is fully integrated and is in many ways better than the stock ones.
If, theoretically, a device is missing now the users can log into their account track their phone by GPS and wipe it clear.
Cyanogen has also reported that future updates will come in two versions. One focused on developers and one focused on normal Android users
