Confirmed: T-Mobile Sony Xperia Z1S will be available soon
The device features the BIONZ image-processing engine
With a little delay, Sony entered the CES scene ready to announce its newest devices. The extremely popular and successful Xperia line has officially recruited a new crew member- the smaller but yet powerful Sony Xperia Z1S. As it was recently rumoured, the handset will indeed become a part of T-Mobile’s arsenal but, first things first. The device isn’t much different than the Sony Xperia Z1 that appeared at IFA few months ago, however we’ll still remind you of the features, as the specs worth mentioning.
The 5-incher sports a 1920×1080 pixel TRILUMINOS display and is pretty much a multimedia device, perfect for gaming and videos. The device has a splendid performance thanks to Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 800 coated at 2.2GHz and it’s paired with 2GB of RAM. The integrated space is set for 32GB of internal storage and the smartphone is loaded with everything needed for entertainment and multimedia, the Sony way.
The camera set is impressive pair with 20.7-megapixel rare-facing snapper and it features the BIONZ image-processing engine, probably familiar to you from the SONY DSLR series. To brag with some enviable experience in cameras, Sony has also enhanced the image quality with few apps optimized with the big megapixel numbers cam Those apps feature info-eye that has been designed to look for information on objects when taking a photo, as well as the Timeshift- app that takes 61 images just a second before and after users tap to shoot.
The software tweaks include background defocus and more. Since this a Sony, gamers can’t be possibly left disappointed by the creator of PlayStation, as the Sony Xperia Z1S brings gaming to the mobile device via the PlayStation app. This one basically transforms the smartphone onto an extension of the new generation console while PlayStation Mobile grants access to Sony’s catalogue of games for mobile devices.
In addition, Sony gives 6 movies for free from Sony Video Unlimited and 2-months free trial of Sony Music Unlimited.
