Cat B25 is a phone for those who want a rugged 2G model with basic capabilities, a speakerphone and SMS. This is not among the greatest rugged devices neither in terms of specs, which look like 10 years old, nor in terms of design. This Cat has a classical casing that resembles a candy bar. Thick rubber is found around the edges in order the phone to withstand drops and shocks. Cat B25 has met the IP67 standards so it is water, dust and shock proof. The screen is just 2 inches across the diagonals which is half less than the premium model B15. The display has not been made with Gorilla glass, though it is scratch resistant. It has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, but as the screen menu is pretty minimalistic, the screen resolution is enough. Cat B25 is switched on through a red button and it powers up really fast as it lacks modern OS such as Android or WP. One of the disappointments comes in the way of the 2 MP camera without features like autofocus and LED flash. The Cat includes a 208 MHz single core processor, a microSD slot, Bluetooth, USB and a 1300 mAh battery. |
