BlackBerry Q40 concept design steps up with a vision for better specs
BlackBerry Q40 concept design combines top-end specs with a physical keyboard
We can’t deny that there are still many die-hard fans of BlackBerry who got pretty excited when BlackBerry 10 series launched on the market. Although we did hope that those would once again revive the popularity of the operating system, the lack of high-end specs in the company’s handsets pretty much backs off a huge amount of the expected enthusiasm. In addition to that, devices such as BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Q10 and BlackBerry Z30 somehow failed to fulfil their own big potential. On the other hand, there are big water stones for BlackBerry in the face of the current champs on the market- Android and iOS- and there is only one way to compete.
That is to step up the specs and try to rival the top-end devices. In that manner, BlackBerryVzla sets out to share the BlackBerry Q40 vision in order to combine top-end specs with a physical keyboard that is the signature of the company and has won a huge die-hard fandom through the years. The concept design is quite an interesting idea that we’d really like to see become reality in the near future. According to the vision, BlackBerry Q40 has a nice body design wider in the middle with slightly curved edges.
The concept source also suggests the pack of specs for the handset, starting with the 5-inch Super AMOLED display with the screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Under the hood, the Q40 would operate with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU at 2.2GHz paired with 3GB of ram. The built-in storage is set to be 32GB, and the main camera on the rare side 13-megapixel. In terms of connectivity, the concept source suggests 4G LTE, USB 3.0 support. Other specs worth mentioning include the powerful 3200mAh battery that fuels the device and, of course, the signature QWERTY keyboard. Unfortunately, the keyboard will make the handset quite huge and not very compact to use, but so far, this is still a concept.
Are you a BlackBerry fan? Would you like to see this concept for BlackBerry Q40 become reality?
