BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 is a model available from April 2010, very similar to its predecessor. With dimensions of 108 x 50 x 13.3 mm, the 9100 is both slimmer and smoother than the Pearl 8120 model. The phone has subtle curves, rubberized sides and textured back. With a weight of 93.6 grams, the phone feels quite nice in the hand. As expected, the screen size of this model is not huge. It measures 2.25 inches across diagonals, with a resolution of 360 x 400 pixels. The high pixel density results in rich colors, accurate vibrancy and brightness. BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 has a 20-keys keyboard having two characters assigned at one key. The phone is enriched with SureType – it gives you suggestions for words as soon as you start typing a text message. The processor is 624 MHz backed by 256 MB of RAM. The phone includes 2 GB of in-built storage capacity and a microSD slot. On the rear side, you have a 3.15 MP camera with LED flash and autofocus. The phone ships with BlackBerry OS 5, upgradable up to OS 6. The new version delivers a new interface and plenty of new features. The battery is 1150 mAh. |
