Samsung announced upcoming Black Edition for Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini

The company has just announced new versions of its flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 and its mini variant, the Galaxy S4 Mini that will stand out with the luxury faux leather rare panels. The Black editions are officially introduced by Samsung Russia. The models are outfitted in beautiful black shells with faux leather accents on the back. On the inside, the phones boast the same specs and capabilities as the original handsets. The Galaxy S4 Black Edition arrives with a 5-inch screen with 1080p resolution. It is powered by a quad-core CPU working at 1.9GHz with Snapdragon 600 chip under the hood. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Black Edition arrives with a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 540x960p. It is working with a Snapdragon 400 chipset dual-core processor ticking at 1.7GHz.
When will the Black Edition smartphones be available for purchase? According to Samsung Russia they will be released in the country this month. The price of the Galaxy S4 Black Edition unlocked will be RUB 23,000 ($660). The small-sized Galaxy S4 Mini Black Edition will be offered for RUB 16,000 ($460). The new appearance of the models definitely brings more premium feel to the devices. The prices of the Black Edition are a bit higher than the ordinary costs for the original smartphones that are currently available in the local carriers and retailers. There is still no information whether the new smartphones will be officially launched to other markets as well.
