Best Buy offers for pre-orders Sprint-branded Nexus 5, both subsidized and unlocked
Google Nexus 5 was revealed and released on 31st of October… and the same day (the 16GB variant) run out of stock in Google Play Store. Fortunately the Play Store is not the only retailer that offers the high-end device. Those of you who want to buy a carrier-branded handset; you get the opportunity to pre-order a Nexus 5 for Sprint from the retailer Best Buy. The 16GB variant of Nexus 5 is in stock and ready to be shipped next week from the company. It can be pre-ordered for $149.99 with signed two-year contract with Sprint. The SIM free device is priced $449.99. The costs for the high-end device are equal to what you would pay if you buy it directly from Sprint. The only difference is that if you choose to pre-order from Best Buy you do not need to send a $50 mail-in rebate in order to be eligible for the $149.99 price for Nexus 5. All of you that are impatient to get the high-end smartphone running on the newest Android 4.4 KitKat just need to be patient for 5 days more. Best Buy and Sprint have announced the launch date for the handset and it is 8th of November.
The price of Nexus 5 is with $100 lower in Google Play Store. However the 16GB variant is out of stock at the moment and according to rumors you will need to wait a few weeks until you get it shipped to you.
