BBM for iOS submitted 2 weeks ago may be coming for Android as well
Do you like the BBM app? Have you waited for it to come to your OS for a long time? Well, it seems that finally we have an official word from BlackBerry about the app.
From BlackBerry have said that the BBM app will launch until the end of summer and since there are only a couple of weeks till that happens we are expecting the BBM app to soon start on both iOS and Android.
It seems that BBM has submitted the app to Apple two weeks ago and it is awaiting official approval since all apps should go through approval before they are up on the iOS market there is no way to know when exactly will that happen.; however, it may be any day now and when we come to think of it since adding apps to Google Play is much easier and no submission process takes place we can safely assume that BlackBerry will launch the app on Google Play the same day the app is approved on the App Store, so it may be up on both platforms at the same time.
We all know that the BBM app is pretty solid and it has been in beta version for some time now and we hope that all the little bugs have been minimized to the point they are no problem for an official launch. However, there would be some features missing from the app at launch like BBM Voice, BBM Video and screen sharing, which are planned to be added in the fall.
Still we are hoping for plenty to come from BlackBerry and there is still a lot to be seen from the BBM app. Still we will have to see what the response will be to the appearance of the app on iOS and Android.
