The BBM app for Android already in ad campaigns of Samsung
BlackBerry is not having the best time lately. However this does not mean that the company has given up and has nothing to offer for its customers. Exactly the opposite – many of us are eagerly anticipating the cross-platform messaging app BlackBerry Messenger (BBM app) that will bring a great convenience for users worldwide. Samsung is one of the first companies that have officially announced that it will integrate the BlackBerry Messenger app in its smartphones in Africa when the version of the application for Android becomes available. The recent ad campaigns and videos by Samsung make a hint that we will not have to wait for long before the BBM app becomes officially launched for the Android platform and hopefully for the other popular operating systems as well.
Of what we know from the website for news for the Canadian manufacturer, CrackBerry, the ad campaigns are released in several regions for now with the plans to spread to more locations. The chosen regions are the countries where Samsung sells the smartphones where BBM app will be integrated. The videos released on YouTube and the social networks are just the beginning of the vaster ad campaign the BlackBerry will provide for its unique cross-platform BBM app that will certainly draw attention and attract more users.
The marketing of the Samsung Galaxy devices with BlackBerry Messenger loaded on them is still in very early ages, but you can have a glimpse on the newly released videos for the first ad campaigns.
Back in June we shared with you the plans of BlackBerry to develop the cross-platform version of BBM after several rival companies have expressed interest towards the platform. At that time, predictions suggested that the launching of the app will happen sometime in the summer. Now it seems that BBM app is almost ready to be released.
