AT&T will launch the Lumia 1520 on 22nd of November
AT&T was the first mobile operator in the US that confirmed that it will launch Nokia Lumia 1520. The company did not reveal exactly when the release date will be, but there was no doubt that it was planned for the near future, before the holidays. The rumored date was 22nd of November and now we know that this time the rumors turned out to be true. AT&T is ready to launch the high-end Windows Phone running Nokia Lumia 1520 after exactly 2 weeks from now, on Friday 22nd of November. The price for the phablet will be $199.99 with signed two-year contract. Another payment option for the smartphone is with the program AT&T Next for $27 equal payments each month. The SIM-free Lumia 1520 will be offered for $584.99. The company has already announced the device available for pre-orders.
AT&T will release the 16GB variant of the phablet. The 32GB Lumia 1520 will arrive soon after that according to the company. The carrier is teaming up with Nokia and Microsoft to offer a lot of extras for the new owners of the AT&T-branded devices. For example, those who buy and activate a Lumia 1520 from the carrier until 9th of January will get an app credit for $20 for Windows Phone Store courtesy from Microsoft. In addition the new owners are getting 50GB of AT&T Locker cloud memory.
The gamers will try the new HD 6-inches screen of Lumia 1520 with a free copy of the game Halo: Spartan Assault. If all this has not convinced you yet to buy the high-end phablet, just to let you know that customers will also get a gift card for $50 for Microsoft Store app. Your new Lumia 1520 will be well protected in the free flip cover, a special gift from Microsoft that is worth $40. It will be part of the deal for everyone that pre-orders the device. Nokia Lumia 1520 is the first large-sized high-end smartphone running on Windows Phone 8. It was announced on 22nd of October and a month later it will land on the shelves in one of the biggest carriers in the US.
