Asus VivoTab Note 8, a Windows 8.1 based tablet announced at CES 2014 in Las Vegas. This model has very slim bezels and weighs just 380 grams. One of the most attractive features on this device is the Wacon stylus pen. It sits in a silo at the bottom and offers you 1000 levels of sensitivity, suitable for professionals and students who want a more accurate and precise pen. At the rear, we are looking at two stereo speakers, while up front there is an 8 inch screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. That means you have an average pixel density of 189ppi. As far as the colors, this tablet doesn’t provide the best possible colors, but it is still great.
Asus VivoTab Note 8 is powered by a quad-core Silvermont processor at 1.3GHz with 2 GB of RAM. On board there are two cameras – 5 MP camera on the back and an HD front facing shooter. The tablet is equipped with UBS port, Bluetooth and microSD slot. There is a 15.5 Whr battery that gives you up to 8 hours on a single charge. The internal storage is 64 GB, but you have an unlimited access for 1 year to the Asus WebStorage.
