ASUS gives details on the MeMO Pad Tablets
Today, on the second day of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ASUS revealed some dates and prices for its MeMO Pad Tablets. Before we mention them, let’s have a look on the devices.
The bigger tablet (on the picture above) is the 10.1-incher ASUS MeMO Pad ME301T (where MeMO stands for ‘My Mobile. My Moment’). The tablet’s 10.1’’ display is LCD IPS and its resolution is 149ppi – a bit disappointing, isn’t it? The device sports a Tegra 3 quad-core and 1GB of operative memory. The 16GB storage capacity can be expanded via microSD card. The device has two cameras – rear at 5MP and front at 1.2MP and comes with Jelly Bean on board. The launch date for this device is March 7, when it will be available in Midnight Blue only – other colours will be released afterwards. ASUS MeMO Pad ME301T can be pre-ordered for $378.
The smaller device is the 7-incher ASUS MeMO Pad ME172V with its 7’’ LCD display, resolution of 1024×600 and 170ppi. The processor is single-core, clocked at 1GHz and the GPU’s model is Mali-400. The tablet features 1GB of operative memory and 8GB of storage capacity that can be expanded via microSD card. There is only one camera – front – at 1.3MP and the tablet comes with Jelly Bean. It will be released about mid-April and is available in Titanium Grey. Let’s hope it will be this good in flesh!
