Apple and Staples plan to work together in the USA
The large and famous chain Staple has about 2 000 stores in USA and Canada. The customers in Canada can already buy Apple products from the company stores and now Apple is planning to sign the same contract in the USA. In fact, this serious distribution expansion may be crucial for both sides and for the customers, but nothing is official yet. There have been no statements and all we know is from Twitter and Instagram.
The rumour began from the account of the Global Human Resources’ SVP of Staples – Regis Mulot, who tweeted the good news, followed by the Field Service Manager Michael Goggin, who bragged about a finalization of a deal with Apple, which provided Staples with the right to offer their products in the stores net. The third confirmation comes from the Twitter of Erin LaFlamme – the Strategic Accounts Coordinator for Staples. She tweeted a link with an Instagram picture with an apple pie and stated that Apple has let Staples sell their products and there was a celebration with apple products at her work. Now the three tweets are inaccessible – the first one is deleted, the second and the third are inaccessible (because of changed privacy settings) and all we have now is the Instagram picture. However, with all this bragging and celebrating, we are sure to hear some official news soon.
