Android users get BBC Sport app at last
Finally, the users of Android can follow their favourite sports events with the new BBC app designed specifically for their system. Well, it was a long wait, but surely a worthy one.
The application was preceded by a nice and comfortable mobile website with live stream of the Olympic Games and other great sport events. Then the Apple application came out and it was a matter of time for time for the Android app to be fact. As the website of BBC is really rich of news, photos and all kind of fresh sport information, especially regarding the UK Football, this comes as a good gift for the fans of the little green droid.
The application is characterized by a couple of features such as a section with live scores of the football matches that are played at present and the option to play live and on-demand video. However, we have a bad news – for now the app is available only for the UK because of the features stated before. The efforts to find the same app for the US has ended with no success.
The application has been received with controversial opinion – the design is user-friendly and easy to use and the news supply is dense, but the video is not so good. Hopefully, BBC will take care of this with the future updates.
