Alcatel One Touch POP C9 arrives with nice specs and 5 colourful cases
The One Touch POP C9 sports a 5.5-inch qHD IPS display with 960×540 pixels of resolution
We’ve already reported the upcoming POP tablet series as well as the Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ BOM Band combo, so let’s proceed with Alcatels’s new line freshly squeezed at CES 2014. Another brand new device to the company’s line up titled Alcatel One Touch POP C9 is a big vibrant screen handset that comes in five colourful cases.
According to the report, the new smartphone will offer a simpler user interface and a bunch of pre-installed apps on board for all social, gaming and productivity user needs. The device rocks pretty much the typical standard specs for the mid-range ground and as the other announced Alcatel devices, it will arrive with an appealing price tag.
The OneTouch POP C9 sports a 5.5-inch qHD IPS display with 960×540 pixels of resolution and operates with a quad-core processor coated at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM. There’s no word on the processor brand, but we assume that MediaTek is running the show. It has integrated 4GB internal storage that is set for expansion via microSD card up to 32GB and it supports Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
The camera set features a 8-megapixel rear-facing snapper with camera flash and HD video support and a 2-megapixel front-facing cam. The device offers a powerful 2500 mAh battery that is said to give users about eight hours of talk time on 2G and four hours on 3G, and is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
The package also includes a very Moto G style cover for your personal design preferences with matching or mixed colours. The device will operate on all major GSM bands, so we can already see it arriving at T-Mobile.
The POP C9 is a decent mid-range smartphone, pretty well designed with good specs. Stay tuned for more details and updates.
