Alcatel One Touch Pop 7-inches tablet appears in a new leak
The last few months seem to be pretty busy and successful for Alcatel with few new devices by the company that officially arrived in the mobile world. During the IFA event back in the beginning of September, Alcatel introduced several new devices. Two models smartphones purposed for T-Mobile arrived soon after that. But if you think that is all that the company has to offer, you will be nicely surprised by the latest rumor. The famous tipster for tech news and rumors @evleaks has just posted on Twitter a nicely looking slate alleged to be the 7-inches tablet Alcatel One Touch Pop. The company has made a hint for the upcoming model tablet several times before but it is the first leak with high-resolution pictures that give us a better idea of appearance and the specs of the slate.
The first things that grab attention on the picture are the interchangeable colorful back plates for Alcatel One Touch Pop. The second noticeable thing is the operating system that is powering the device. It works over the Android platform which is highly customized by Alcatel. If you find the user interface familiar, it is probably because we have seen something similar in Alcatel One Touch Hero and Alcatel One Touch Alpha. The leak does not reveal much more specs for the upcoming tablet, but as we can see from the photo, there will be two cameras. Another feature that catches the eye is the set of on-screen navigation buttons.
In terms of specs this is all we know so far from the leaked images. The expectations about Alcatel One Touch Pop are to boast low-end to mid-range set of specs with basic capabilities. The interchangeable back cover certainly brings more extraordinary features to the device. There aren’t any details about the launch date, the price or the availability of Alcatel One Touch Pop. Stay tuned.
