Alcatel One Touch Fierce is available in two colors – silver and slate. The brushed metal gives a nice accent, while the overall feeling is for a cheap device made of plastic. The body measures 5.13 x 2.64 x 0.35 inches, the 3.5 mm audio jack is positioned at the top along with the power/sleep button. The volume rocker is on the right, while the micro USB port for charging is at the bottom. Flipping the phone over, you will see the 5 MP camera with LED flash and the speaker grille. The microSD slot is underneath the 1800 mAh battery. Alcatel One Touch Fierce has 4 GB of internal space. The display is 4.5-inches TFT with a low resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. Unfortunately, it cannot deliver nice and sharp picture and even the default wallpaper looks grainy and with color banding. In comparison to the LG Optimus F6, the display is more sensitive, though you need to tap slightly harder to select what you want. The viewing angle is narrow and the effect is worsening in direct sunlight. This model has a front-facing VGA shooter just above the display. Below the screen, there are three hotkeys. Overall, this model is inexpensive and it is suitable for those on a tight budget. |
