Acer Iconia B1 is the new budget tablet by the company
Acer will present a new affordable tablet Iconia B1 at CES 2014
The euphoria about the upcoming big event in the digit world, the CES 2014 is already spreading around with the pre-event announcements by some of the biggest companies. Acer is world renown for its laptops and tablets and there is no doubt that the manufacturer is preparing something special for its users. One of the most attractive tablets that we are about to see at CES 2014 is the affordable Acer Iconia B1. The price of the tablet is so irresistible for the specs it offers that the slate has the full potential to become among the most favorite large-sized devices on the market. It costs only $129.99.
The Iconia B1 comes to you with a 7-inches OGS (One Glass Solution) screen. It works with a dual-core processor clocked 1.3GHz paired with 1GB RAM. The company has not revealed the chipset just yet. It runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean platform. The built-in storage of the tablet is the modest 16GB. Users can expand it with 32GB memory via microSD cards. Acer Iconia B1 is provided with one camera module on the front panel. Acer is yet to announce the exact specs of the battery of the slate. For now we can only share what the company has revealed. The battery should keep the tablet fully functional for up to 5 hours in talk time. There aren’t many details yet about the connectivity features of the device.
Considering that this is a budget tablet we can expect the basic capabilities, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Acer Iconia B1 sports a stylish design with ergonomic shape. The bezels of the display are a bit vaster than the rival models of the same class. It will be launched in red and gray shells. The tablet will be released in the middle of January. It will certainly make an appearance at CES 2014 before this.
