New Sony device’s details leaked
Earlier in February we reported you about a leak about a new Sony device in a browser test. We were not sure whether the screenshot was real or photoshoped, but now it appears that there really is a new device being developed by Sony. The screenshot back then showed us an unrecognized device from the C680X series – let’s remind you that Xperia Z is a part of the C660X series.
Now there is a new rumour and according to it, the device has 4.8’’ screen with Full HD resolution. This means that Sony will stake on a smaller screen with more pixels per inch. Moreover, the device will sport a better processor than Xperia Z – the future 5’’ flagship of the company comes with Snapdragon 400, and this one will have Snapdragon 600 inside.
Another data from the leak informs us of the other parts – 13MP camera (Exmor RS sensor), 2GB of operative memory and 32GB storage capacity. The device is expected to hit the markets at some time in the summer, but nothing is for sure yet – there is no official information of name, pricing, availability and the carriers that will supply it.
The smartphone on the picture above from Xperia blog is similar to Sony Xperia Z. The camera, however, is on the other side. Maybe this is the new device? We will have to wait more to get some news. Stay tuned in with us for updates of the topic.
