No Sony logo on the display of Xperia Z
Sony Mobile is one of the few mobile manufacturers who introduced a special pre-applied screen protector to the displays of its smartphones, which is a cool feature and also provides the device with a factory-fitted finish.
Now, one would assume that the company logo would normally be baked onto the screen itself, not on the protecting shield. However, judging by the photos below, the ‘Sony’ logo on the Xperia Z has been placed exactly on the protective screen! The guys over at ComputerBild.de carefully removed the pre-applied protector, and found out that the front face of this quite a pricy phone was just a single sheet of glass with no logo to be found.
For now it is not clear whether this will be the case for retail devices. It certainly seems to be the case for pre-production samples, though.
