Android tablets Skype update brings portrait calls and more languages

The Android Skype app saw an update that made it usable on tablets, with an improved tablet UI, but it had issues – it wouldn’t allow calling in portrait mode, and only worked in landscape. Because of these and overall lack of proper support, many just gave up on Skype for Android tablets.

Now however, Skype has been updated (find it at Play Store), fixing these issues, adding new languages and offering better tablet support.

Well now…. video or audio quality hasn’t actually been improved that much, yet at least we can now properly use Skype on Android tablets.
