HTC’s One SV offers 4G speeds for Cricket Wireless
One SV is one of HTC’s latest handsets participating in the CES show this year. It sports a dual-core, Qualcomm S4 1.2GHz CPU and has a 4.3-inch super LCD-2 touchscreen at 800×480 resolution and covered with Gorilla Glass 2. It comes with only 8GB of storage space, which however can be expanded with an additional microSD memory card. The phone will have Android 4.0 preloaded, with HTC’s Sense 4 interface skinned over it. There are two cameras – a 5 MP rear unit capturing 1080p video and with backside illumination, and a front camera of only 1.6 megapixels which however is perfectly enough for video-chatting. The phone is of a simply ideal size, and has a case made of soft-touch plastic, and in one (so far confirmed) color – Flame Red.
The best thing is that One SV runs on Cricket’s 4G LTE network, so download speeds should be faster in supported areas. Beats Audio comes integrated, too, though the amp feature only works when listening through headphones.
The handset is a Cricket exclusive, and is expected as of January 16th. This carrier normally doesn’t do contracts, so the price of the handset is set at $350.
