LG E940 quad-core smartphone hits GLBenchmark
Now that quad-core smartphones are pretty much the norm, everyone in the smartphone market is shifting their focus towards larger 1080p HD displays and beyond.
A new phone by LG for AT&T has been spotted sporting such specifications. Based on the GLBenchmark details, this very well could be another flagship smartphone from LG. The results confirm Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, a quad-core processor (probably a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro) and of course the star of the show – the 1920 x 1080p full HD resolution.
We can also expect at least a 5-inch screen and hopefully Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean by the time it hits the shelves, sometime in 2013. Most likely we’ll see this 1080p phone and many others at CES next month.
