Sony Xperia C650X Odin
This year is coming to its end. It has welcomed a lot of new smart devices released by many developers, but now it seems the race has started for the new year.
In 2012 Sony, too, has introduced a number of smartphones. And, as it seems, they are also ready to meet 2013 with a next generation of devices. Leaked information has shown three new Sony phones, one of which is supposed to be the company’s next flagship – the Xperia C650X Odin.
Naturally, it is still very early to know much for certain. For now, it is only known that the Xperia C650X has several models – C6502, C6503 and C6506, where the different last numbers suggest regional variations. According to the rumors, the device is running Android 4.1.1.
The other two devices seem to be similar to the current Xperia tipo and Xperia miro models. Their model numbers are C1505 and C1604/C1605 and both have HVGA screens of unknown size, and run Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Based on this, it is expected that C160X is powered by a Snapdragon S4 Play chipset, with a single 1GHz Cortex-A5 core and Adreno 200 graphics, as revealed by its NenaMark 2 results. As for the C150X, it is probably powered by the same platform, though there are no benchmark results available yet.
What more will the C160X, C150X and C160X have to offer? Well, we shall have to wait for a couple of months to know for certain. But we’ll keep an eager eye on the new releases, and will keep you informed!
