Facebook launches Android and iOS Updates
Facebook today pushed out updates to both its Android and iOS mobile applications, as promised.
The FB for Android includes a number of under-the-hood tweaks that speed the app up. The FB Messenger for Android is also updated with a new layout, which will make it easier for the user to discover friends who are online, and it also provide the ability to send instant messages via text message rather than over the data connection. The updated app is compatible with iOS 6 and the iPhone 5.

Update at 6:00PM EST: Facebook Pages Manager for iOS has also been updated with “Bug fixes for iOS 6 and performance updates.” You can grab version 4.1.1 from the official Apple App Store.
