Facebook testing photo syncing on Android
As we recently informed you on our site, Facebook had realized that its Android auto-uploading of photos app was not working properly, while there are milions of Android users worldwide who would like having a quality Facebook app for their devices. So, Facebook had promised a native app for the platform.
The functionality of the newest version of Photo Sync is under testing right now by some users, and should it give positive results, its world release will follow pretty soon.
The feature works the same as the Google+ app where every photo is automatically uploaded and stored in a private album for easy sharing or sorting from there. The syncing has a couple of extra options though, like taking into account your battery level before syncing, and cutting the photos that sync over mobile data to 100k to save your data plan. It is still not known whether or not WiFi syncing will be of full quality.
As mentioned above, the new app is being tested with only some users. To chek whether you are one of them, go to your Timeline on Facebook for Android, then tap Photos, and see if there is a Sync button.
