Nokia Lumia Icon is available for purchase in Verizon and Microsoft Stores
Nokia Lumia Icon is officially released by Verizon for $199.99
Nokia Lumia Icon was officially unveiled on 13th of February. Since yesterday the waiting for the releasing of one of the most advanced Windows Phone-powered smartphones is over because Verizon launched the model. The successor of Nokia Lumia 928 has a 5-inch 1080p display. It sports a square design with similar shape as the rest of the models from the Lumia line. The powerful smartphone works with a quad-core Snapdragon processor set at 2.2GHz. It runs on Windows Phone 8 OS Nokia Black update. The provided RAM in the device is 2GB while the storage is 32GB. A microSD slot is not available in the model. Among the most outstanding advantages of the smartphone is its 20MP PureView camera on the back. The first time we saw this camera was in the phablet Nokia Lumia 1520 released in the end of 2013. In terms of specs and capabilities the Lumia Icon reminds a lot to its bigger sibling. Lumia Icon assures the full package of connectivity features, including the fast LTE.
The new handset is released exclusively by Verizon, just like the older model Lumia 928. Right on time the model landed on the shelves of the carrier. If you are ready to sign two year contract with Verizon, you can have it for $199.99. The Lumia Icon is available in the stores and the online store of the carrier as well as in the Microsoft Stores in the US. There is a special gift for the first buyers of Lumia Icon who purchase the model until 16th of March – a free wireless charging accessory by Nokia as part of the deal. In addition, the purchase of the new Nokia Lumia Icon brings you $100 discount from the price of the latest tablet from the manufacturer, the Nokia Lumia 2520.
