Samsung GT-I9515 aka Galaxy S4 Value Edition gets Bluetooth SIG certification

The rumors that Samsung will release a more affordable version of its current flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 have been lingering for some time now. The new model has the number GT-I9515. Recently a leak with the benchmark results of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition revealed more about the specs of the device. The GT-I9515 has just received its Bluetooth SIG certification which confirms its existence and makes the hint that the smartphone will be released sooner than later.
In general the new model will provide the same specs as the original flagship. The Galaxy S4 Value Edition comes with a 5-inch screen. Under the hood of the smartphone is working a quad-core 1.9GHz processor with Snapdragon 600. The main difference between the original model and the new Galaxy S4 Value Edition is in the operating system. The upcoming device runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat pre-installed on it. For now there is more information about the specs of the new smartphone than on its appearance. For example, it is still unknown whether the Galaxy S4 Value Edition will be adorned with faux leather accent on the back as the latest new models of Samsung.
The color versions that will be available for the handset are red, purple, pink, white, black and brown. The expectations for Galaxy S4 Value Edition are to be offered at more affordable price than the original model. The company has not confirmed the existence of the device yet, so we remain open for surprises. It might be released under the Neo name for example. There is still no information about the announcement or the launching of the Galaxy S4 Value Edition. The certification of the Bluetooth SIG certainly brings it one step closer to the mobile arena.
