Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and the Tab Pro series are heading to Canada later this month
Canadian users will get the device with an even lower $769.99
Last week Samsung expanded the availability of its newest tablet series as Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 hit the shelves in selected UK retailers, including Carphone Warehouse, John Lewis and Samsung Experience Store in Westfield Stratford City. The Wi-Fi (only) variant of the latest Android tablet by Samsung is available for British users for £649 ($1076). Today we’ve got some great news for Canadian users as well, as the Note Pro 12.2 alongside with the Galaxy Tab Pro series will be heading to Canada later this month. Unlike the high price tag of the Wi-Fi Note Pro 12.2 in the UK- $1076 and the more modest price tag of the LTE enabled variant of the same tablet in the US retailers- $849, Canadian users will get the device with an even lower $769.99 tag. Unfortunately, there’s still no word whether this is for the Wi-Fi or LTE only variant; however considering that the Tab Pro series will hit the shelves in Canada as Wi-Fi only versions, it’s most likely for the Note Pro to follow the example.
In terms of hardware capabilities, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is basically flawless- it sports an LCD display with 2560×1440 pixels of resolution and an octa-core Samsung Exynos CPU under the hood cloaked at 1.9HGz and paired with 3GB of RAM. The tablet offers a camera set of 8-megapixel rare snapper and 2-megapixel shooter in front, as well as 32GB built-in storage set for expansion via a microSD card. The whole device is fuelled by a powerful 9500mAh battery. Of course, the Note Pro comes with an S Pen stylus and the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.
As for the Tab Pro series, all three sizes will be rolling out to Canadian retailers from later this month. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 will be available for $699.9, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 will be priced at $512.99 and the smaller and most affordable family member Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 will cost $419.99. All tablets will be available in Best Buy, Costco, Future Shop, The Source, Target, Wallmart and etc.
