Render photos of red Nexus 5 surfaced on the web
Red Nexus 5 is posing for the camera in a new leak
It seems like yesterday when we shared the first leak about a possible red version of the Google Nexus 5. In the last week a picture of the ready-to-be-shipped boxed with red Nexus 5 surfaced on the web. Later on an internal document from Sprint revealed the alleged launch date for the new model – 4th of February. Less than two days before the date when we are supposed to see in real the red Nexus 5 the famous tipster @evleaks presented press photos of the model. And we should say – it looks marvelous!
The red paint covers the body of the phone instead of the white color in the snowy version of the handset. The back plate of the new Nexus 5 is adorned in crimson color that covers also the front panel around the display and the earpiece. The pictures seem very believable and come in time to increase the excitement around the launching of the red Nexus 5 scheduled for 4th of February according to the latest rumors.
Nexus 5 is the newest flagship of Google, made by LG that was officially presented in the end of the last year. It is a high-end device that runs on the new update Android 4.4 KitKat. The phone is armored with a 5-inch display with full HD resolution of 1080p. The Nexus 5 is powered by the fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip with quad-core processor with 2.26GHz power. There are 2GB RAM for the excellent performance and 16GB storage. The main camera sensor lies on the back of the smartphone with 8MP and LED flash. On the face panel stands the 1.3MP shooter. Nexus 5 is equipped with a 2300mAh battery. It is LTE enabled and provides different connectivity features, including 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The phone is available in black and white at the moment.
The expectations for the new red variant suggest similar price as the models in the classic black and white shells. Who knows, we might even see a yellow variant of the phone? We will update you with the newest.
