Samsung launching Garnet Red Galaxy Tab 3 7.0
The publication mentions only a Wi-Fi variant of the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0
When it comes to tablets, there’s no doubt that the Galaxy Tab line is the most successful for Samsung in terms of sales. That’s why the Korean company won’t let up on a quick freshening up. In fact, only one week ago Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 leaked online in documents, revealing both a demo and a retail unit of the device.
The new addition to the Galaxy Tab tablets headed to T-Mobile without any official announcements to appear on the carrier’s website and its mortar stores only few days later. As expected, the device has passed all testing to become compatible with the LTE network of T-Mobile. The device can be purchased via T-Mobile’s Equipment Instalment Plan for $0 down and $13 monthly payment for a two- year contract.
The total amount of $312 might not look very accurate for the tablet as it packs mid-range specs of a 7-inch display with the resolution of 1024×600 pixels and operates with a dual-core 1.7GHz processor under the hood paired with 1GB of RAM. Furthermore, the device offers 8/16GB of internal storage and is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
When we think of the monsters that Samsung unveiled earlier this month at CES, this one seems to be comparatively weak and not very impressive; so the Korean manufacturer seems to compensate for the hardware with better design.
In that term, Samsung just announced a limited edition of the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 wearing a strikingly beautiful Garnet Red attire. At least we can say so by looking at the press photos. There’s no word whether the red fella will have 3G and call-enabled release, as the publication mentions only a Wi-Fi variant. This one will wear the price tag of $199.99 and will launch on February 2.
