Sony introduced the affordable Xperia T2 and Xperia E1
Both Xperia phones to be launched on the emerging markets, not in the US
Sony has just announced two new additions to its Xperia line-up – Sony Xperia T2 and Xperia E1. Both new phones will come with not so-attractive but still decent innards and features. Being budget oriented handsets, Sony will initially launch the T2 and the E1 on the emerging markets, with no current plans for US or European releases.
Starting from the more attractive device from both, the 6-inch Xperia T2. It is a dual-SIM model running Android that lets you set up different custom ringtones for each SIM card. You can switch between both cards easily before making calls.
The phone has a 720p HD display and a quad-core processor at 1.4 GHz with 1 GB of RAM. On board, there is 8 GB of storage, a microSD slot, 13 MP rear and a 1.1 MP front facing camera. The Xperia T2 is powered by a large 3000 mAh battery that promises to save power helped by the Battery Stamina mode. According to Sony, the new Xperia T1 will come to China, Africa and the Middle East, but specific dates haven’t been revealed.
Sony Xperia E1 has lower specs than the T2 model. It has a 4-inch screen, a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM. Again, there is a dual SIM slot. Xperia E1 is designed for the music lovers – it comes with a 100 dB speaker and promotional access for 30 days to the Sony music catalogue. Calum MacDougall from Sony says:

The budget phone is coming is three color options (purple, black and white). Availability and pricing details haven’t been disclosed.
