Hisense X1 is the new phablet with a fascinating size of 6.8-inches display
Hisense X1 with 6.8-inches screen goes official at CES 2014
New giganto smartphone with decent specs is getting ready to compete against the current phablets on the mobile arena. Meet the Hisense X1. It features a large 6.8-inches IPS display with a resolution of 1080 pixels. In the heart of the new giant is ticking a Snapdragon 800 chip. The Hisense X1 is equipped with 13MP camera located on the back. The model was just introduced at the CES 2014 in Las Vegas. The presented device runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. However the company revealed that the giganto smartphone that will be officially launched will arrive with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
Speaking of releasing, the Hisense X1 will land on the markets in China first. Later on, probably in the Q2 2014, the 6.8-inches phablet will hit the shelves of US retailers. The X1 will be available SIM-free. Rumors say that Hisense is speaking with local carriers in the States for launching of the device. The battery of X1 is with a capacity of 3900mAh. It is HSPA+ enabled, which means that the large-sized phablet enables you to make phone calls. It does not support LTE connectivity. The company did not reveal details about the pricing of the X1. The expectations suggest a relatively affordable price for the device compared to the other giganto phones on the market. The Hisense X1 is made from plastic and sports elegant design. It is comfortable for caring despite its impressive size. The phablet definitely reminds a lot more to tablet than to smartphone. The possibility to make phone calls is a real advantage in front of many of the rival devices.
The new addition by Hisense brings diversity to the market of high-end smartphones and tablets. Do you believe that a phablet with such dimensions will be convenient for your daily tasks on the go? We are eager to hear from you.
