Sonic Racing Transformed available on Google Play Store, but needs fixing
People have reported some vital issues that need to be fixed before downloading the game
Sonic Racing Transformed is the successor of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, which came out for Android merely three months ago.
The tag of the game is “It’s Not Just Racing…it’s Racing Transformed!” which means that you can race as the iconic character Sonic and many other legendary All-Stars and you have to speed across land, sea and even air in a high velocity battle to get to the finish line. The racing transformed bit is referring to the fact that you can change your vehicle from a car, to a boat or plane while you’re racing, depending on the stage setting and environment.
Users can race as 10 legendary character, each with their own unique vehicle that is able to transform. You can take to land, sea and air as you race through courses which dynamically change as you go along, not to mention discover alternate routes, find new boosters and power-ups, all while avoiding various traps along the way to victory.
Sonic Racing Transformed has a brand new World Tour designed for gaming on the go, plus daily and weekly challenges to test your racing abilities.
You can challenge your friends in the ultracompetitive 4-player races, which can be played both online and locally.
Now this all sounds pretty good, but people have reported a few vital issues that desperate need fixing before you download the game. Like for example some users say that when they open the game it freezes in a black screen or other can play for a bit before getting the “forced close” treatment. At the moment it is said that there’s no multi-player like it has been advertised and only ten characters, with the rest expected for later. It’s very likely that this feature will require some extra money.
All of these problems are pretty fatal and it’s best for fans of the games to wait a while till they are fixed in order to enjoy what sounds like a pretty fun game.
Sonic Racing Transformed was last updated on January 3rd, 2014, its size and current version vary with each device and it requires Android 4.0 and up. Now go straight to the Google Play Store and grab the game.
