Call of Duty: Strike Team to be developed for more Android devices and gets a holiday price cut
Yesterday we gave you a list of the best shooter games for Android, one of the best being Call of Duty: Strike Team. Now, it seems that the game is getting a holiday price cut and its expanding their device roster.
It may be quite difficult to port popular game titles from console to Android, but fortunately over the years, the developers have created a mobile version of a game franchise that not only sticks true to the game’s spirit, but also adds some mobile-only features. Call of Duty: Strike Team is such a game, which is now expanding to just a few more Android devices.
Owners of Google Nexus 5 and Nexus 10, Samsung Galaxy Note and Note II, as well as Sony Xperia S and Z will now be able to install the game on their smartphones and tablets.
This app delivers an all-new, first person and third-person Call of Duty experience, designed for mobile and tablet devices. You can fully customize your team’s loadouts and abilities before leading them into a fierce battle in various locations. It features the revolutionary ability to switch dynamically from first person view to third, which is very helpful, because you can actually see what happens to your character.
You can also strategically customize the members of your squad with weapons, perks or body armor. There are two modes that you can play:
Campaign Mode – You can experience an immersive single-player campaign full of epic, cinematic moments in diverse locations around the world.
Survival Mode – You have to put your skills to the test as you fight off waves of increasingly difficult enemies. Compete against family, friends and the Call of Duty: Strike Team community for leaderboard domination.
This game app was last updated to version 1.0.30.40254 on December 26, 2013. It’s size is 1.9G and it requires Android 4.0 and up.
As a special holiday present for all the fans of the game, Activision has put Call of Duty: Strike Team on sale and reduced the price to $2.99 from $6.99, which it will go back to after February the 1st of next year.
