Oppo R1 poses for the camera for a new set of photos
In the end of November it was the first time when we saw a render photo of Oppo R829T presented on the official website of the company. The teaser consisted of a single photo revealing the rare panel of the handset. Many of us first though that the mystery device is the long anticipated Oppo Find 7. It turned out that the R829T is a completely different model that will probably land on the Chinese market with little chance to cross the borders of the country.
Just recently Oppo presented us with a new set of render photos of R829T aka Oppo R1. This time we can see each side of the handset in high-resolution pictures. Similar to its sibling Find 5, the Oppo R1 is adorned with meal frame that surrounds its sleek corpus. The depicted device is “dressed” in protective casing. Therefore we still can’t see the R1 in details. The main buttons for Lock/Power and volume are made of metal located on both sides of the device. The phone is assured with microUSB and speakers. According to the previous leak the R1 will arrive with 4.5-inches screen with 720p resolution. Something different than the gossip for the phone is its processor.
We first heard that R1 will be working with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU while now the CPU is pointed as a quad-core 1.3GHz with MediaTek MT6582 chip. It boasts 1GB RAM. The built-in memory is 16GB. It will be equipped with 8MP primary shooter on the back enriched with LED flash and different features. The handset is Android-powered. As we know from the end of November, it is expected to cost ¥2000, around $330. Among the advantages of the mid-range handset is its holographic mirror design that is definitely impressive. The debut of Oppo R1 is expected in the beginning of 2014.
