Jolla – unboxing and first impressions: videos available
Jolla sales have begun in Finland
The Jolla phone is already available in Finland and more 136 countries will follow soon, the Finland-based company has promised. The video below comes from Marcus Lundqvist, a customer who is probably among the first users having bought the Sailfish OS – based mobile phone called Jolla. The smartphone comes in a white colored box with the Jolla logo on top. When you open the box, you will see the Jolla phone wrapped in a plastic protective foil and a user manual.
Below the phone there’s a pink Thank You card from the company, some other manuals, the USB cable, the battery with Jolla’s logo on top, and the power supply adapter. As you probably know, Jolla phone is made of two parts – the main and the other half. The second part is replaceable so you can easily change the back color of your phone according to your mood.
The second video shows some of the Sailfish OS personalization options. For example, you can link all your accounts to this phone and when you open the gallery you can see all your photos at one place. The Jolla phone includes a nice notification center which aggregates all notifications from the social networks and apps and shows them on the screen.
Jolla is a mid-range device according to the standards. It has a dual-core processor 1.4 GHz with 1 GB of RAM. The phone comes with a 4.5-inch qHD display and 16 GB internal storage, expandable via Micro SD card. Jolla supports 4G / LTE and it comes with a 8 MP camera on the back and a 2 MP up front. The battery is 2100 mAh. Jolla is offered in Finland for 399 euros or $542. You can read more about Jolla here.
