New rumors suggest 31st of October for the launch date of Nexus 5
Google Nexus 5 is one of the most eagerly anticipated devices in the mobile world nowadays. The speculations around its announcement are countless, coming from all kinds of sources. We have heard predictions that the new high-end smartphone by Google will debut on 15th of October, and then there were rumors for 16th the same month. We already know that those rumors turn out not to be true. Google never confirmed any of those dates. In fact the company remains silent on the topic about the announcement of Google Nexus 5 which builds up the anticipation and evokes the curiosity even more. The silence of Google does not stop the new rumors and predictions about the arrival of the high-end smartphone.
Thanks to MobileSyrup we have a new date marked in the calendar when we hope to see the new handset by Google. We have heard several rumors pointing out the last days of October as the potential announcement date for the device. The latest rumor suggests 31st of October as the most probable date for the launching of Nexus 5 in Google Play Store. In addition we have some more information about the release of the device in the Canadian carriers. It is expected to land on the shelves of Rogers, TELUS, Bell, Virgin and Koodo around 7th or 8th of November. This means that if rumors turn out to be true we can expect the announcement of the high-end smartphone any day now.
If we summarize the information we have about the new Google phone, it includes an innovative smartphone manufactured by LG. It will be armored with around 5-inches display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and pixel density of 443ppi. The CPU of the device will be a quad-core 2.3GHz with Snapdragon 800 chipset and 2GB RAM on board. The smartphone will support 4G LTE connectivity features. The last year’s flagship Nexus 4 sold out for days in Google Play Store and put the company in front of the challenge to satisfy the great demand for the device. Let’s hope that Google has learned the lesson and this year it has stocked in enough units to meet users’ needs.
