Micromax Canvas Turbo may be a disappointment
The Indian company Micromax is preparing a new high – end model named Micromax Canvas Turbo 0. We have already seen several teasers of the upcoming smarphone but according to new leaks, the Canvas Turbo may be a disappointment, despite its price level.
In July, Micromax launched the Canvas 4 and it was a model with very high expectations. However, there was again some disappointment when the device came out despite its low price of $295. Now, the situation looks quite similar.
Micromax Canvas Turbo is being heavily promoted through different ads, videos and teasers, including many celebrities. The handset is thought to include a 5-inch FULL HD display by Sharp and a quad-core processor ticking over at 1.5 GHz with 2 GB of RAM.
So far, so good. But there’s one major problem. According to the information, the Canvas Turbo will have only 16 GB of storage that isn’t expandable. The situation becomes even worse if taking into account that only 1 GB of the storage will be available for storing apps. Around 12.5 GB can be used for other data and files. 1 GB is nothing and that would definitely limit your user experience. Many games and even some apps require more storage space. What’s the point in having a fast-processor and nice HD screen when you won’t be able to use them?
Other specs are thought to include a 13 MP main camera and a front facing 5 MP shooter. The battery is said to be 2000 mAh. The Micromax Canvas Turbo will run Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean with some additional software features found also on the Canvas 4.
The smartphone is likely to be available on October 26, with a price tag of Rs. 19,990 or around $326
