Apple iPad mini 2 is set for a release in November 2013. This tablet packs a 7.9-inch retina display - is a compact version of the iPad Air model. iPad Mini 2 has a great screen with a pixel density of 324 ppi and a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The screen resolution is exactly the same as the Google Nexus 7 new tablet. So, the iPad Mini 2 shows a great level of details. The Retina display delivers great color accuracy; it is very bright even in extreme light conditions outdoors. One of its biggest advantages of the screen is its smoothness and the extra sharpness. Apple iPad Mini 2 has a 4:3 ratio and it comes with two stereo speakers. The design is similar to its predecessor with a slim aluminum body. The 4G version comes with a piece of plastic around the antenna while the buttons are made of metal. This tablet is thicker and heavier than the first model, but the difference is hard to notice. However, it remains a quite compact product. The performance is flawless due to the fast dual-core processor at 1.3 GHz with 1 GB of RAM. Overall, the iPad Mini 2 is one of the best tablets on the market within this size range. |
