The clues lead to 28 October as a release date of Android 4.4 KitKat and Nexus 5
KitKat’s hints about the Android’s latest update provoke the fans to act like assistants of Sherlock Holmes. Every tweet is considered as some kind of a clue or a part of the big jigsaw puzzle that might reveal what everyone is currently so hyper about. That is the release date of the Android 4.4 KitKat and Nexus 5.
The puns regarding Android 4.4 KitKat start with the first speculation of new KitKat images posted on Twitter that suggest we should get ready for the latest flavor of their product on October 28th. What kind of flavor do they have in mind? Of course, the references don’t end up here and another tweet strikes with an ‘Everybody Dance Now’ image referencing the song ‘Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)’ by the C+C Music Factory. It’s not a secret that the original name of the band used to be 28th Street Crew. That’s not all. The speculations for Android 4.4 KitKat release date continue with the second image, posted today that spells out ‘This Is It’ with Kit Kat bars. In case you’re not sure what it means, it’s the Michael Jackson movie released on, believe it or not, October 28th. Is this a coincidence? We believe not. The unveiled Nexus 4 on October 29 last year also seems to shed some light on the case, according to the followers of KitKat’s Twitter.
Tomorrow’s tweet might either confirm the release date of Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat and Nexus 5 to be Monday October 28th or once again we’ll be witnessing another example of a pure marketing genius with lots of coincidences put there on purpose. No matter what, it’s working. As for the official date, at least for now we can only guess.
