Screenshots of Sense 5.5 reveal more about the upcoming update
HTC equips its smartphones with its unique user interface Sense. The new version of the Android-based platform Sense 5.5 is expected to arrive in the next weeks. HTC has already made hints that the update will bring a lot of goodies to the smartphones. Even though the curiosity and the impatience of users about Sense 5.5 are building up, the company has managed to keep the mystery around the update.
Today we finally see the first believable leak unveiling some details about Sense 5.5. The source of the information is the famous tipster and HTC ROM producer mike1986. He shared the leak with the screenshots with the website Android Revolution HD. One of the improved features in the update is BlinkFeed. According to the tipster, the feature will include new categories, the possibility to add a customer topics tab and an option for the disabling of BlinkFeed.
Another interesting enhancement that will come along with Sense 5.5 is the changes in the Quick Settings panel. After the update, the feature will include the button “Do Not Disturb.” Users will have many options to arrange the layouts of the buttons for settings. Many users will love also the improvements in few built-in apps. For example, the HTC keyboard is enriched. There are new modes in the camera app, such as “Dual Camera” and “Panorama+” and improved Recent Apps.
HTC has not confirmed officially the changes in Sense 5.5 revealed in the leak. The new improvements describe more fulfilling and convenient user interface. The new features and the improved apps will bring more user-friendly experience to owners of HTC devices running on the software. HTC has not announced any further details about the launching of the update. The appearance of the leak makes a clue that the Sense 5.5 is almost ready for rolling-out. Are you excited yet?
