Reverting from iOS 7 to iOS 6 is no longer possible
The launching of iOS 7 is part of the great period of changes for Apple. The completely redesigned and improved user interface with more features than ever and support for innovative technologies bring the user experience to a next level. As usual, changes are easy for some and hard for others to be accepted and embraced.
Ever since the announcement of the iOS 7 during WWDC, users seems to be divided in their opinions – some love it and some hare it. The 7 beta versions gave us a good idea of what to expect and enough time to get used to the idea. Hopefully you are used to the iOS 7, because once you install it, you will not be able to return to the previous iOS 6. The official upgrade will be fully functional on your device. With the beta versions it was easy for developers to test it and then return to iOS 6 if they don’t like something. Apple has officially pulled on the old platform. If you try to revert to iOS 6, you wull not be able to fully use it.
This decision by Apple will not be appreciated by many iPhone users. The reasons for this are numerous. For instance, iOS 7 is still far away from the perfect platform keeping in mind the serious and small bugs reported in the last days and the issues that will probably be detected later. iOS 7 is a bit heavy for the older models smartphones, like for iPhone 4 etc. Last, but not least, many users just honestly don’t like the new design and want to revert back to iOS 6. Apple has made up its mind and the older platform will not be functional once you upgrade to iOS 7. We do hope you are not annoyed by this. After all, the new features and capabilities in the upgrade are worth it trying and will bring you a more fulfilling experience.
