Nokia Asha 500 poses for the camera in high-resolution photos
Nokia Asha 500 is shown for first time in high-resolution render photos, shared by @evleaks. The upcoming handset by Nokia stands out with an attractive design and bright-colored shell. The leak barely reveals anything about the phone in terms of software. Asha 500 is a Dual-SIM smartphone that reminds a lot to Nokia Asha 501. The phone from the leak makes an impression with a slightly different design. Its panel has the same shape as Asha 501, but the edges of Asha 500 are enriched with translucent effect. it gives it more unique and memorable look. The buttons in the upcoming devices are capacitive while its older sibling features a physical one. The expectations for the phone are to offer similar capabilities like Asha 501 in terms of software and connectivity. It will certainly support Wi-Fi network. The price will probably be similar to the affordable handset. Nokia Asha 501 was well accepted by users. After the acquisition of the Asha line by Microsoft, the company has announced its ambitions to get leading positions in the low-end devices for business and everyday use.
Something interesting that we can see from the picture in the leak is the Whatsapp app that will be supported by the phone. This is great news for the application and means that it will finally be compatible with the Asha smartphones. There are rumors that the app will be available for Asha 501 as well. This is all we know for now about the upcoming handset. The Finnish manufacturer is arranging a bit event on 22nd of October with Nokia Lumia 1520 as the star of the show. We do hope to find out more about the rest of the devices the company is working on, including Asha 500. The emerging leak with render photo definitely hints that the phone is on its way. How do you like the concept for a low-end attractive phone by Nokia?
