Republic Wireless will launch Moto X for $299 off contract
Motorla Moto X is scheduled for launch by one of the relatively small carriers in the US, Republic Wireless. The mobile operator officially announced that the price of Moto X will be $299. The impressive part of it is that this is the price not tied in a contract. The carrier has not revealed much when the flagship will be up for sells. The anticipation is growing because when the Republic’s Moto X finally gets official it will feature improved Wi-Fi call quality. This is not the first device Motorola-branded that arrives at the mobile operator. The Motorola DEFY XT brought quite a success, so time will show whether the new smartphone will do, too.
A quick reminder for the phone includes a 4.7-inches screen with a 720p resolution. It is powered by dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU clocked at 1.7GHz. Among the highlights of the phone is its 10MP ClearPixel camera on the back. The price offered by Republic Wireless is very tempting, compared to the off-contract price offered by other carriers. It is with 100 bucks higher than the costs you will pay for Moto X if you choose to sign two-year contract.
The mobile operator will reveal its rate plan choices for Moto X later in November. The expectations consist of the lowest $5 per month for unlimited talk, texts and date over Wi-Fi network. The $10 plan of Republic Wireless will bring unlimited talk time and text on Wi-Fi and cellular. In addition they get unlimited Wi-Fi data. The more expensive $25 payment plan will bring unlimited talk, text and data on Wi-Fi and 3G. The most costly plan will be available for $40 per month. It will include unlimited talk, text and data on Wi-Fi and the fast 4G network. It is good to know that the current 19$ payment will be provided only for the Motorola DEFY XT model.
