SM-P900 is the newest 12.2-inches Samsung tablet spotted on a camera
Perhaps everyone in the mobile world already knows that Samsung is planning to announce its new phablet Galaxy Note 3 and the breakthrough smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Gear. Both devices are much anticipated by fans of innovative gadgets and large-sized smartphones. Could it be more from Samsung? The latest rumors about the Korean manufacturer suggest that it is working on a new high-end tablet with 12.2-inches. The leak with the first picture of the device was shared by MovePlayer. The tipster claims that this new slate has the code name Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 SM-P900. It seems that the tablet will be the successor of the popular 9x slates of the Korean manufacturer.
The speculations around the 12.2-inches tablet under work by Samsung have been drawing attention for several months with several leaks. Of what we know so far, the new slate will work with Exynos 5 Octa CPU. The screen of the device will boast a resolution of 2560x1600p.
Earlier this month we shared with you the reports from the supply chains for Apple and Samsung revealing that both companies are working over 12.2-inches slates. The tablets will take a new niche in the mobile world and will bring more fulfilling user experience, closer to laptop. Many believe that Samsung is planning to release a mid-range slate that will be part of the Samsung Galaxy Tab line instead of Galaxy Note. One of the clues that conforms this theory is the code name of the tablet – SM-P900. The letter “P” in the name usually means that the device does not support S-Pen which means that it will not be a high-end tablet.
Of course, all those guessing will probably change with the next leak with specs and pictures. It would be a nice surprise by Samsung to unveil the 12-inches tablet SM-P900 at IFA. The idea makes the waiting even harder! Everything is possible in the mobile world, so we will wait and see.
