New lens that is attached to your smartphone device can turn it into a microscope
If you always wanted a lens that can turn your phone into a microscope you know got it. Well, kind of. The Micro Phone Lens turns out to be one of the cheapest and simplest solutions out there if you want to see the world around you zoomed with your phone. All you need to do is just stick it on your device and it will fit and you will be able to look closer at stuff like the wings of a fly or the tracks on a circuit board. If you want to know how much closer you will see things than in reall life the answer is 15X.
Yeah, 15 times zoom than normal eyes and you can see some pretty interesting things with this kind of zoom. We know that it is not a lot but, honestly this is even too much for a $15 device that is completely compact and transportable. Besides, a microscope is pretty bulky to begin with. But this device is made with the idea that it would be carried around in mind. Of course the device requires that you use it with a 5 or more MP camera preferably with auto focus and, of course, you will not need any special cases or attachments going with the device. It is made out of material that is optically identical to glass and resistant to scratching. If you really want to get one of these devices then you have to go to Kickstarter. The current project has raised sufficient funding and anyone who has order one of these devices will receive it in October at the latest. Also you should know that the guy who made this one is already working on another one which is way better at 150X zoom for the new lens and you might as well want to keep an eye if this comes up around Christmas or later.
