Motorola DROID MAXX and Motorola DROID Ultra to arrive on time
Not long ago Motorola revealed their new devices the Motorola DROID Ultra, Motorola DROID MAXX and Motorola DROID Mini. A lot of users back then were really excited to pre-order the devices and expect them to arrive on August 20th as it was later announced. However, Verizon recently changed the pre-order date to 27th August and left us wondering if the already ordered devices will arrive in time for the initially announced date. There was no possible way to know for certain if the devices will arrive on 20th for those who have ordered early or on 27th altogether.
However, the Big Red went on and clarified for its users that the device will be up in stores on August 20th. Verizon also announced that those who had ordered before the change in date will receive the device, Motorola DROID MAXX or Motorola DROID Ultra, on the shipping date that was shown when they ordered, that would mean August 20th.
This news comes from users who have pre-ordered the Motorola devices and they have received shipment notifications about a date – August 19th. It seems that they might even receive the pre-ordered device a day earlier than officially expected on the air. It’s good to know that Verizon is actually making sure that those customers who have pre-ordered on a certain date expectations will receive the device on time.
The Motorola DROID MAXX comes at $299 on contract and the Motorola DROID Ultra comes at $199 again on contract.
We will be expecting further information from people who have pre-ordered the devices and we will see if they have received shipment notification for August 19th. There is still a lot to come from the Motorola devices and we hope that Verizon will make sure that everything goes on plan and the requested devices are to arrive on time in order not to irritate the users that ordered them.
