Android and iOS will not be gettin BBM at least until the end of summer
There has been a new high for the confusion that’s roaming through the social networks this week. The BBM app coming for the Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS seems to be the discussed theme and a huge misunderstanding has lead to this situation. First of all some misleading sites without stable sources announced that the BBM app might come for Android users in Africa, which is incorrect. All of this resulted in people waiting for a release on their OS to go to the social networks and ask a lot of questions.
“Where do I download the BBM app for Android, it saw a launch this week?” – this was undoubtedly the most commonly asked question in the networks mainly from people who live in Africa and expected to have access to the BBM app on their platforms. The real news considered the arrival of the BBM app but first on Samsung Apps and then on other platforms, which might explain BBM rumored to become part of the Samsung Messaging Hub. Articles on some major technology and information websites have appeared announcing “BBM comes to Android”, or “BBM for Android hits Samsung Galaxy phones”. Of course, both of these titles do not offer the full information as the truth is BBM is only arriving as part of the Samsung Messaging Hub and it will arrive on Samsung Apps not on Android.
BBM will not be arriving to Android or iOS at least until the end of this month it is announced to come by the end of summer on iOS and on Android, so we may even go in September so to speak.
For the time being you have to remain calm and use the other chat apps that are available on both app markets. And we will see by when will the BBM appear on Android and iOS.
