Apple introduces a system for reporting of spam messages
One of the most annoying things for internet users and mobile users is the SPAM. It comes from everywhere and in all kinds of forms; therefore it seems almost impossible to stop it. Most of us just ignore and delete the unwanted messages. The latest news from Apple reveals that the company has something to offer for the solving of this problem. The new system that Apple is announcing can decrease significantly the spam you are getting daily. The system enables users of iOS 5 and newer platform updates to report the spam messages via iMessage. You can do that by taking a screenshot of the certain spam message and send it to Apple. You need to include information about the source of this spam – the email or the phone number of the sender. The company then analyses the message and blocks the sender.
Even though the way this system works seems a bit primitive, it is worth it to give it a try. It will take you less than 5 minutes to take the screenshot and to send it to Apple via iMessage and the result can be in less and less span you receive daily.
Apple has announced the new reporting system against spam before the official launching of iOS 7 scheduled for September. This gives the impression that the new system will be part of the new update of the platform. The announcement of the iOS 7 at the WWDC showed that Apple is working on including a variety of safety features in the platform and more capabilities for users to manage the unwanted calls, messages and even voice calls. One of the most impressive innovations that we are eager to see in the official iOS 7 is the blocking feature. It enables users to prevent any contact from specific unwanted contacts. They can effectively block certain senders and effectively avoid contact.
iOS 7 will help us get rid from unwanted contacts and spam? Those new capabilities build up the anticipation for the launching of the update. Do you agree with us?
